Inside Our Vogue-Inspired Water Shoot – Jacksonville Studio Transformation

Back in October, I decided to shake things up.
I wanted to challenge photographers. I wanted to inspire production companies. And most of all, I wanted to prove that Luxury Point Studio isn’t just a “cute white studio” — it’s a creative playground with room for real innovation.
So I went for it:We built and by we I mean my wonderful husband and partner at Luxury Point Studio (insert muscle man emoji) a full indoor water set — yes, water inside the studio — and curated a fashion-forward shoot that looked like it belonged in Vogue.
The Vision
The goal wasn’t just to make cool content. I wanted to give photographers in Jacksonville an experience that would level up their portfolios and show them what’s possible when they step outside of the box.
This was about pushing creative limits.
I kept hearing people say, “I’ve never seen this done inside a studio here!” And that’s exactly why I had to do it.

The Setup
We transformed our 3,000 sq ft studio space into a mini soundstage. Using water lining, secure framing, and light-reflective materials, we created a shallow reflective pool that instantly elevated the vibe. Also we did have to poured countless numbers of gallons ( of which was a major struggle to get out even with a sub pump) Add in chrome spheres, a high-fashion wardrobe, and models who understood the assignment, and the result was pure editorial energy.
Lighting was everything. We also blacked out the space to fully control the atmosphere, allowing dramatic shadows, saturated tones, and the movement of light on water to take center stage.
Why This Shoot Mattered
This shoot was about proving what’s possible inside Luxury Point Studio. I wanted:
Photographers to create portfolio-defining images
Production teams to see that custom set builds can absolutely happen here
Content creators to feel inspired to go bigger and bolder with their ideas
Whether you're shooting a maternity session, building out a brand campaign, or producing editorial-style content — this space can adapt. This shoot was proof of that.

Real Growth for Creatives
Every photographer who came left with more than just dope images — they left with a new perspective on what they can create. That’s the energy I want to keep building at Luxury Point.
No gatekeeping. No cookie-cutter setups. Just real opportunities for creatives to grow and expand.
Why Production Companies Should Take Notice
With 16-foot ceilings, a cyclorama wall, and open-concept design, Luxury Point Studio is perfect for more than just photo sessions. If you’re scouting for a production space in Jacksonville that can accommodate set builds, editorial shoots, and creative concepts — you’ve found it.
